Kahve Cafe
About us
Welcome to Kahve Café, where ancient ritual meets everyday magic.
We want you to feel like you are coming home after a long time away to visit family. There is a Turkish proverb that says, 'One cup of coffee creates a 40-year friendship.' When you walk in, you are not just a customer to us; you are being welcomed into our family.
Housed in a 115-year-old Victorian home in the heart of Salt Lake City, Kahve is more than a cafe - it's a living, breathing sanctuary for those seeking beauty, connection, and soul nourishment. We serve Turkish coffee brewed in hot sand, moon milks infused with herbs and intention, and handmade treats like baklava custard, traditional baklava bites as well as other Turkish sweets and savories that taste like a love letter to your senses.
As a single mother rebuilding her life from the ground up, I longed to create a space that felt like home - not just for me, but for others searching for meaning, beauty, and connection. A place where ancient rituals and modern healing could live side by side. Where the past and present could swirl together like Turkish coffee & cardamom in a copper cezve.
So I found thishome and poured everything I had into transforming it into what is now Kahve Cafe- a soulful, sanctuary-like space that honors my Turkish roots, my love of herbal healing, and my belief in community as medicine.
We were the first to bring Turkish coffee brewed in hot sand to Salt Lake City - a ritual that's as much about presence as it is about flavor. We also introduced Moon Milks to the city: warm, herbal tonics infused with intention, Ayurveda, and a little bit of lunar magic. Each one is a potion for the nervous system and a love letter to the senses.
Every corner of our space tells a story. Our rooms are filled with vintage charm, healing energy, and laughter shared over Turkish tea. Whether you're nestled into a velvet chair journaling on a Sunday, sipping moon milk in our rose garden, or working in one our little nooks, you're part of something rooted in ritual and warmth.
We're guided by the ancient traditions of Turkish hospitality, the intuitive rhythm of the moon, and the deep belief that cafes can be sanctuaries - places where art, healing, and community bloom together.
Kahve is also home to the Wise Dragonfly Collective, a creative healing space where crystal healers, sound alchemists, and intuitive readers offer their gifts upstairs. This is where magic and wellness meet, where visitors become kin, and where every offering - from a cup of tea to a tarot session - is made with care and reverence.
This is a place to remember who you are. To reconnect. To sip slowly. To leave lighter than you came. To us you are not just a customer, you are family.
We can't wait to welcome you.
